We Love our Austin, Texas Fabric Protection

My fabric protection business requires me to visit our service centers, and I always look forward to my visits to Austin, Texas. My wife and her children attended the University of Texas there, and I love the Texas Hill country. When I am there, my work is to represent our fabric protector, STAIN FREE to Austin interior designers. Many Austin Designers refer our Austin, Texas, fabric protection services to their clientele. We also get a lot of Austin customers who order our fabric protection spray from our website store page.

Fabric Protection Austin

I always stay at the Hyatt Regency on the Lake with a beautiful view of the night skyline across the Lake. The hotel also has a view of the Congress Ave Bridge, and in the Fall, you can watch the Mexican Free-Tailed bats fly by the thousands at dusk from under the bridge—a great tourist attraction.

Many designers find us on Google with the keyword Fabric protection furniture or fabric protection product.

I have been in the business of fabric stain protection for 33 years, and we have been serving Austin with upholstery and rug fabric guard for the last 20 years.

My favorite place to eat in Austin is the Salt Lick Out, about 30 minutes from Driftwood, Texas. It’s on an old farm road a few minutes from Dripping Springs. The place is huge and can seat about 500 people. The barbecue is excellent…they serve family style, so it’s all you can eat.

After a day of calling on interior designers and a good southern meal at one of Austin’s finest…my last stop is Amy’s Ice Cream

which not only features homemade ice cream but a great show by the kids that serve you with throwing the ice cream into the air and catching it in a cup or cone. An enjoyable place.

Up in the morning to call on the Design Trade with our furniture protection services and products. But one must visit Magnolia for breakfast for 5 Alarm Chilaquiles and blueberry pancakes with pecans.

While we protect furniture and protect upholstery, we also clean furniture and area rugs. We have 4 Austin technicians who apply for our Fabric Protection

Austin is also the capital of Texas. Located in downtown Austin, the building houses the Texas Legislature’s offices and chambers in addition to the state’s governor’s office.

The Texas Capitol offers free 30-minute tours, which are a great way to learn about the history of the building, walk the historic halls, and take pictures. Tours leave every 30 to 45 minutes from Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tours run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturdays and from noon to 3:30 p.m. on Sundays. Suppose you prefer to tour at your own pace. Then, from 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. on weekdays or from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on weekends, you can enjoy the structure and surrounding grounds by picking up a free booklet from the Capitol Details and Guide Service room or through the Capitol Visitors Center. Also, parking is a breeze – the garage is conveniently located about two blocks from the Texas State Capitol (1201 San Jacinto St.), and the first two hours are free.

Standing 14 feet taller than the U.S. Capitol building, the enormous three-story Sunset Red Texas Granite skyscraper represents the largest capitol building in the country. Be on the watch for classy and decorative features such as the elaborate handrails and the enormous brass door hinges (which are so stunning that many people have attempted to steal them over the years). The letters T-E-X-A-S can be seen in the light bulbs of the brass chandeliers of the House of Representatives chamber if you look closely.

After all the walking you’ve been doing, stop by the Capitol Grill to refuel, located at the Capitol Extension. They offer breakfast, lunch, and grab-and-go options, so try a sweet Texas-sized flapjack or a delicious Capitol Grill burger. Other nearby dining options include the Texas Chili Parlor (portrayed in 2007’s “Death Proof” by Quentin Tarantino and serenaded by Guy Clark’s song Dublin Blues), the historic Clay Pit for some of the best Indian food in town (built in 1853), and more!

Our Stain guard offers the best stain protection available, and our stain protection services also offer professional cleaning. You will need less cleaning with or stain protection treatment.

While some prefer us to apply the fabric stain guard to their furnishings professionally, we also offer self-application with our 16 oz bottles of upholstery stain protection called STAIN FREE. You can purchase our furniture guard on our website or over the phone.

Just remember, STAIN FREE is the best fabric protection you can buy.
