The fabric protection formula used in ULTRA-GUARD's application is a safe stain protection for almost all fabrics. It dries almost immediately and allows protected furniture to be used the same day. The protective fabric coating formula contains an ultra-violet inhibitor that reduces fading of fabric and carpet.

The ULTRA-GUARD application comes with a Free limited lifetime warranty, so when an accident occurs, a phone call will bring a trained service technician to the home of the customer at no charge.

A COMPARISON TO SCOTCHGUARD

ULTRA-GUARD’s STAIN FREE formula has been engineered to be a more permanent application than other stain protection products, such as Scotchguard.  These products have to be re-applied after cleaning.  We feel so confident of STAIN FREE’s permanency that we provide a permanency guaranty, the guaranty states that if the service center application of STAIN FREE shows evidence of being less effective after cleaning, ULTRA-GUARD will reapply at no charge to our customer*

ULTRA-GUARD’s STAIN FREE has an ultra-violet inhibitor that Scotchguard and similar products do not have.  Protecting fabric and carpet yarn from sun fade is the feature that makes STAIN FREE the most advanced fabric protection formula available.

It is very important to choose a fabric guard application or chemical that won't cause damage or be undependable for your carpets, rugs or fine fabrics in your home. This fabric protection formula will not change the color or feel of the fabric, and while the ULTRA-GUARD formula may not protect against certain acids or dyes. The ULTRA-GUARD fabric protection formula will dramatically reduce the chances of ever having a permanent stain!

Other Fabric protection products and treatments

Pretreated Fabrics:
This type of fabric treatment offers only a temporary solution to protecting fabrics. These products are primarily water-based and this 'top coating' treatment wears off with use and is easily removed by cleaning or attempts at stain removal. CAUTION: Certain fabrics could be damaged by these chemicals.

Warehouse Applications:
Some home furnishing stores offer fabric protection. The chemicals used in these applications are usually somewhat better than that of the pretreatments and retail spray cans, but some of them include silicones which can cause yellowing of lighter fabrics. These will last only until they are removed by the first cleaning and contain no ultra-violet inhibitors and fabrics can fade. CAUTION: Silicone is a 'sticky' substance that actually can attract dirt and soil to the surface of the fabric.
